Project Graduation
Class of 2012

March 26 Project Graduation Mtg 6:30 HS Library

April 5 - Cow Patty Bingo (Rogersville City Park) flyer

It has been sometime since I have sent out anything about Project Graduation. I hope everyone had a great holiday season; it is a very busy time of year for all. However, half of the year has slipped away. Here we are with only 4 months left to get as much as possible done for OUR Seniors. We have had some great success with the fundraisers that we’ve done up to this point, however WE NEED YOUR HELP!

As many of you know Project Grad is a “Safe, Drug free” environment that WE (parents) provide for our kids to congratulate them on graduating and moving on to the next phase in their lives. The party will be held at the Meyer’s Center in Springfield after graduation until approximately 5:00 a.m. We have a jam-packed night of activities for our graduates to enjoy.

At this time, we have raised just enough for the party. But, there is none left over for gifts or prizes. In years past each Senior was sent home with something, a nice gift card or cash. We have a long way to go to meet our initial goal of $30,000. We have 3 big fundraisers left, Trivia Night/Silent Auction, Big Man on Campus and Cow Patty Bingo. We also are selling items at the boy’s home Basketball games. We need volunteers to get donations for both Trivia Night and the actual Project Graduation party, work events and help finish off our year strong.

Our next meeting will be January 30th at 6:30 p.m. in the Commons area at the High School. We will be deciding at that time if everyone is happy with what we have, or if we want to try to do more to be able to send our Seniors home with something.

I do believe we will have a wonderful, fun filled night that our kids will always remember. Please try to attend the meeting. There will be a lot of decision making that needs to be addressed. Please come willing to volunteer a little time for your Senior, so we can show how proud we are of their accomplishments! If you are unable to attend and would like to make a monetary donation that would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, Kelly Humble 839-9526 / khumble@logrog.net, or Tammy Cook 840-2907 / tcook@logrog.net .
